Tire stuck around crocodile's neck.

This crocodile survived an earthquake and tsunami that struck the region in 2018 -- but the tire hadn't budged from its neck.

According to Indonesia's state-run Antara news agency, the 13-foot (4-meter) crocodile has been carrying the tire since 2016, when it was first spotted roaming the Palu River in the province of Central Sulawesi.

DYK plastic bags can be dangerous to recycling center personnel and even shutdown a recycling facility? While these can be recycled, they need to be returned to the store. Just save them for your next trip to get groceries.

When in doubt, keep it out

Don’t toss that cup in the recycling bin! Put it in the trash. These single-use items are often contaminated with liquid. Even when clean, cups get crushed and mis-sorted in the recycling machinery. #RecycleRightNC

    Be one less

Wow! That's a lot of straws, but you can be one less. If we're all one less, that makes a big difference!
You can refuse straws at restaurants and bring your own. There are many types of reusable straws that come with easy to carry tools to keep your straw clean. (You can get one like this at the CRA conference this year!)
